Projects are perfect for grouping related meetings and tasks together. Use a project for a larger goal and a task for an action someone on your team needs to take in order to achieve that goal.
Create a new project in Microsoft Teams
To create a new project in Microsoft Teams, add a new tab in your Teams channel. You can add a new tab by clicking on the plus sign next to the Conversations, Files or Wiki tabs in a channel.
Search for the Tasks in a Box tab.
Click on the Tasks in a Box icon.
Select Create a new project and enter a name for your project. Click Save to create your project.
Your project is now created as a new tab in Microsoft Teams.
To edit the project settings, click on the small arrow next to your project's name and choose Project settings.
